Sittig Technologies PAXModular IP paging station with Auracast
Airport gate paging stations with an Auracast transmitter built in, so gate announcements go straight to hearing aids, earbuds and phones. Used at Frankfurt Airport from January 2026 and in a Munich Airport pilot from July 2026.
Auracast status
Confirmed by the manufacturer, the Bluetooth SIG product listing, or an independent test.
Announcements fade in over whatever a compatible Android phone is already playing, then fade out.
