Hearing aids with Auracast in 2026: every model that works today

Brand by brand: which hearing aids join a broadcast directly, which are waiting on firmware, which never will, and how you join on each. Plus what to do if yours are not on the list.

"Works with Auracast" gets stretched. In this guide it means one thing: the hearing aids join a broadcast directly, with no neck-worn streamer or clip-on accessory in between. You pick the broadcast on a phone, in the maker's app or the phone's own menu, and the sound goes straight to your ears.

"Ready" or "hardware on board" does not count. Several aids have the radio but are waiting for firmware to switch it on, and those are listed as pending.

One caution before the list. Firmware rolls out by country and by clinic, and your aids only get it when someone installs it. If your model is marked as working but yours does not, ask your audiologist which firmware is on your aids and whether an update is due.

GN: ReSound, Jabra Enhance and Beltone

GN was first, in 2023, and is the safest bet. It now puts Auracast in every hearing aid where the form factor allows. On all three brands you join through the Auracast Assistant in the maker's app, which works on iPhone as well as Android.

ReSound (Smart 3D app): Nexia, Vivia, the new Sensia from September 2026, and the Enzo IA super power aid all work. Savi, the essential tier, works on the miniRIE, RIE 61, RIE 62 and custom ITC; the Savi CIC is non-wireless and has none.

Jabra Enhance (the Costco and online brand): the Enhance Pro 30 works in the Jabra Enhance Pro app. The Pro 20 works too, but needs hearing aid firmware 10.62 or later and app 1.39 or later. The online Select 700 works in the Jabra Enhance app, and Jabra describes the new self-fitting M1, M2 and M3 as having "Auracast readiness with compatible iOS and Android"; we list them as pending until Jabra says the feature is switched on. The older Select 500 is only partial: the app has no assistant for it, so you join from the broadcast menu on a supported Samsung or Pixel. No iPhone path.

Beltone (HearMax app): Serene, Envision, Commence, Illuminate and the Boost Max S super power aid all work. Envision needs HearMax 1.38 or later. Commence has Auracast on the miniRIE, RIE 63, RIE 64 and wireless ITC, not the CIC, and Illuminate on every style except the custom CIC.

Demant: Oticon, Bernafon and Philips

Oticon (Companion app): Intent was switched on by firmware 1.3.0 in late 2025. Zeal shipped with Auracast on, and so did Reveal, the zinc-air Verit range and the Play SI children's aids. In the app, tap the three dots, then Auracast broadcast.

Bernafon Encanta works in the Bernafon app from version 1.6.1, with the same three dots and Auracast broadcast steps.

Philips HearLink 9050, 7050, 5050 and 3050, sold through Costco, got firmware 1.3.0 in December 2025. Only the miniRITE and miniBTE R models are covered. You join in the Philips HearLink app.

WS Audiology: Signia, Widex and Rexton

The slowest group.

Signia's support page says plainly: "Currently Signia hearing aids do not support Auracast." The IX range (Pure Charge&Go IX, Active Pro IX) has LE Audio streaming from Android phones, but cannot join a broadcast. The Pure Charge&Go MaX, launched in August 2026, has the hardware; Signia says the activation firmware is planned for March 2027.

Widex Allure and Allure AI are partial. With firmware 5.1.20 or later they join broadcasts through an Android phone's own Audio sharing menu. The Widex app has no assistant, so there is no iPhone path yet.

Rexton has no Auracast model we can confirm. Owners on the HearingTracker forum were still asking for a date at the turn of 2026, with no answer from the company.

Sonova: Phonak

The Audéo Eon and Eon Sphere, from August 2026 in the US and September in Australia, are Phonak's first Auracast aids and they work. On Android the myPhonak app lists nearby broadcasts. On iPhone it joins by QR code only, so at a venue with no posted code you will need to ask staff for it.

The Audéo Infinio and Infinio Sphere, sold as "Auracast-ready" since 2024, are still pending. Phonak has told owners the switch-on comes in a 2027 firmware, broadcast-receive only, with no date.

Starkey

Edge AI and Omega AI were enabled by firmware in January 2026, along with an assistant in the My Starkey app on iPhone and Android. CIC and IIC styles of the Edge AI are excluded. The Omega AI+, launched in October 2026, has Auracast on its wireless models; the custom non-wireless CIC has no Bluetooth.

Cochlear

Nothing from Cochlear is fully working yet. The Baha 7 bone-conduction processor is partial: Cochlear says it is compatible with LE Audio and Auracast, but a firmware update is required. The Nucleus 8 Nexa and Kanso 3 Nexa implant processors are pending a firmware update with no date, and so is the new Osia 3, where Cochlear says Auracast depends on third-party adoption. Your implant centre is the place to ask.

Over the counter

The Zepp Clarity Omni (US$399 list) has Auracast according to Zepp and the Bluetooth SIG, but Zepp does not document how to join, and it was sold out when we checked. The cheaper Clarity Pixie has none. The Elehear Beyond 2 Pro (US$799) lists Auracast too, again without a documented join method. The Jabra Enhance models are covered above.

NHS: Danalogic

Danalogic Extend, GN's rechargeable NHS range (standard BTE, power BTE and CROS), was the first NHS aid with LE Audio and Auracast. Broadcasts are chosen in the Danalogic BeMore app. Danalogic itself still says "Auracast ready" and that access depends on the software version, so ask your NHS audiology service whether yours has been updated.

If your hearing aids aren't on the list

You can still hear a broadcast with a bridge.

  • A receiver and a neckloop. If your aids have a telecoil, a pocket receiver with a neckloop turns any broadcast into a loop signal. The Avantree AuraClip (US$69.99) has a 3.5 mm output for a neckloop or wired headphones and needs no phone. Avantree's AuraCoil, with the neckloop built in, is on pre-order with a listed date of 30 November 2026.
  • Borrow one at the venue. Venues such as Sydney Opera House hand out receivers like the Auri RX1 with headphones or a neckloop.
  • A phone dongle. The Avantree Aura C, on pre-order, plugs into a USB-C phone or tablet, picks up a broadcast and passes it to MFi or ASHA hearing aids already paired with the phone. Support depends on the exact aid and phone, so check Avantree's list first.

The receivers page has the full range, Auracast vs hearing loops explains the telecoil route, and once you have something that works, how to join a broadcast has the exact taps. For anything about your hearing itself, talk to your audiologist.
